Custody Tax Services Department is responsible for covering business processes related to cross-border taxation. Various teams within the department are responsible for reporting tax amounts to tax authorities, securing proper tax determination with agents, processing tax reclaims with tax authorities and disbursing funds received from theses tax authorities to our Clients.

Specialists and Senior Specialists are responsible for the basic maker functions, and their work is controlled by Analysts/Supervisors/Team Leaders before submitted to Tax Authorities.

This role is a Senior Specialist in Tax Reclaims Team - the main responsibilities of employee will be:

• Reviewing accrued tax reclaims and determining their validity
• Preparing documentation required for tax refund
• Couriering documentation to Clients and Tax Authorities
• Cooperating with other teams within Citi in more complex cases
• Completing daily checks
• Preparing monthly reporting

We expect:

• At least 6-12 months of experience in Financial Institution, or similar office work
• Fluent English - both verbal and writing
• Basic knowledge of Capital Market
• Other foreign language (especially Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Danish, Swedish, Finnish or Italian) would be an additional asset
