SQL Developer
Location - Kraków, Kwidzyn
As a Packaging Systems Application Development Analyst (ADA) you will assist with the design, development and delivery of ERP technology solutions based on Witron CPMS for International Paper’s EMEA Packaging business using SQL & .NET. You will also assist with technical analysis, daily monitoring, and assist with reporting and decision support. You will interact with end users, BIMs, PIMs, ITSS and enterprise wide technical resources to assist with the creation of technical designs from business requirements. You will then help build and test code to meet the business needs.

You will:
- Be responsible for on-target development, testing, go-live and sustain activities per published plans
- Cooperate with partners in the development of technical specifications, work estimates and project schedules to meet defined business requirements
- Interact with business partners, consultants, developers and end users to review, interpret business and functional requirements as directed
- Develop into a Witron and ERP technical knowledge expert within the company and a source of information for others
- Ensure development and upgrade projects are implemented for optimal ERP technology performance and reliability as planned. Provide expertise to enterprise efforts that impact Witron technology, such as Archiving, Business Continuity, etc.
- Maintain awareness of best practices employed by other companies using similar ERP technologies and modules
- Participate in activities of other IT groups, such as Unix Services, Connectivity, BI, etc. as directed
- Be responsible for aiding in technical product recommendations and roadmap implementations for the Packaging environment and IP information architecture enabled by Witron and associated technology
- Have and maintain expertise in current and future Packaging technology based tools and products. Interact with Enterprise Architecture on product road mapping
You have:
- At minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or an equivalent is preferred
- 5+ years of Transact SQL experience
- Experience with C#.NET or ASP.NET will be a strong asset
- Crystal Reports (or similar report writer)
- Experience with Source Control (TFS, VSS) and Change Management
- Application interface or web application development experience will be a strong plus
- Strong customer focus and ability to understand business processes and information needs
- Effective communication, organizational skills, time management and problem solving skills
- Collaborative manner, with the ability to work closely with team members and IT leadership
- Strong self-management skills
- Very good knowledge of English language is a must, knowledge of Italian, Spanish and/or French will be a plus
- Ability to travel – there will be a 2 month training program in Memphis, TN (USA) as part of the induction process
