External Relations Content Advisor
Work location: Shell Energy Campus, Czerwone Maki 85

Job description:

You will support the delivery of the External Relations (ER) Projects&Technology (P&T) content strategy for a rapidly growing and high-profile external agenda.
You will be responsible to deliver technical and non-technical content in different forms: narratives, speeches, talking points, presentations, etc., will work closely with the P&T ER Manager for Strategy, Planning and Content across technical divisions. As importantly, you will tap into a network of resources across the business, scientific and engineering communities in Shell to develop high quality technical and non-technical content.

Accountabilities:

  • Review existing presentations from the business and apply ER expertise to provide advice about disclosure, confidential information, commercial sensitive issues. This will require close collaboration with the ER Managers on the different technical divisions.

  • Accountable to set up a new structure of the ER PT team sharepoint and function as focal point for content management.

  • Defining the development of proactive / strategic content.

  • Support the PT ER Manager for Strategy, Planning and Content based in Krakow the delivery of some reporting products, including monthly highlights, input to the investors handbook, input to the sustainability report and end-of-the year reports.

  • Work closely with the PT ER Manager for Strategy, Planning and Content based in Krakow in supporting the reputation planning cycle.

  • Manage relationships with variety of internal stakeholders including: ER Managers in P&T, scientists, engineers, COEs and business partners

  • Work in partnership with Media, IR, Internal Communications, Editorial CoE, Social Media CoE, Group CoEs and other related Functions to ensure that P&T digital content and comms approach are aligned with Group approach and vice versa

  • Lead disclosure process for the content he/she creates.

  • Leverage the P&T delivery to support the strengthening of the global Shell brand and reputation

  • Manage numerous projects, priorities and timelines, and manage delivery virtually and across several time zones

Requirements:

  • This is a role that requires to develop intimate knowledge of the PT business priorities and reputational objectives. Hence, technical background and interest in technology, science and OG industry is of importance.

  • Experience in content creation/journalism

  • Excellent writing skills, clear communicator

  • Capable of interfacing and coordinating with wide variety of groups, inclusive in approach.

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information and work in an extremely dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Proven skills to deliver under time pressure and balance multiple projects concurrently

  • Background on technology and expertise on communications

  • Excellent planning, project management and writing skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English - C2
