Product Control is the largest department in Finance with responsibility for controlling Citi revenues via daily profit and loss reporting, price verification and new trading activity review.
We represent the primary control function, monitoring trading activity, controlling daily profit and loss reporting, price verification and new trading activity.
The department is organized into product-aligned teams such as credit, FX, equity, money markets, rates, cash, derivative, as well as structured and exotic variants of different asset classes.
Our Poland office is deeply integrated part of the EMEA regional hub, establishing direct contact with the business and finance areas in the regional center.
The role is part of the G10 Markets Treasury Product Control team in Poland, within EMEA Finance. The business trades a wide range of products (FX spot, FX forward, FX Options, IR Derivatives, Bonds, Repo/Reverse Repo, Internal Funding) across a diverse range of countries and currencies for Western Europe geography scope. This position is to support EMEA rollout of new Reporting Ledger, Financial Full Suite, for Markets Treasury Business
Responsibilities:
- Supporting rollout of global US Reporting Ledger in EMEA region, for Markets Treasury Business.
- Performing UAT testing for Markets Treasury products (FX, FI, SFT, IR Derivatives, Transfer Pricing) to ensure correct Balance Sheet and Income Statement for EMEA Markets Treasury Desk
- Building control and reporting processes for EMEA Treasury products (FX, FI Securities, SFT, IR Derivatives, and Transfer Pricing) using available Full Suite reports and outbound files and ensuring common use of the same tools across whole EMEA PC group.
- Ensuring usage of Full Suite outbound files in standardized Product Control platforms, such as S2/PCI, or UFX/GFX, including data consumption, data processing Establishing relevant offline tools (XLS, MDB, PowerBI, Knime, etc) to address specific controls and reporting needs of Markets Treasury Business Post-implementation support for implemented Reporting Ledger and remediation for challenges and obstacles encountered.
- Ensuring standardization of approach to and usage of common Full Suite tools (the same reports, queries, control & reporting tools) across the different parts of the Product Control for Western Europe
- Ensuring process compliance with underlying Citi policies and requirements (e.g. EUC).
- Building common understanding of Full Suite with in PC group and populating knowledge about Full Suite in practice.
- Building cooperation with and between Product Control teams Timely delivery to ad-hoc queries coming from Product Control Management and Business Stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, Business Technology or Markets Business (similar role is an advantage)
- University/College degree in Finance/Accounting is an advantage but not a must and we are open to other majors
- Technical skills – strong skills in MS Office, PowerBI, Knime and programming (VBA, SQL).
- Good Understanding of Financial Instruments (FX/FI Securities/Derivatives) and their Accounting
