Your role
Are you an analytical and well organized person? Are you
an experienced professional with attention to details?
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to:
• to assist in global daily balance sheet (GDBS) process
from entity & divisional controlling perspective
• to perform detailed balance sheet analysis for major
Swiss UBS entities and Group Treasury
• support daily liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) review and
ensure proper governance of the process
• assist various stakeholders (legal entity, divisional &
product controllers, intercompany team, GDBS & LCR
stakeholders) in identifying reporting issues and escalating
them and providing data outputs to external regulators
(FINMA, SNB)
• assure high level of data quality
• deliver a managed service that meets the Swiss requirements and is compliant with local regulatory
requirements
• process improvement by recommending ways to improve
financial reporting procedures and internal management
information provision
• provide detailed comments on the significant business
moves and assist in preparation of daily/monthly
documentation
Your team
Regional Control Switzerland Team is located in Eximius
Park (Zabierzow). Our role is verification of Balance Sheet
and Income Statement completeness and accuracy for
various Swiss UBS entities & business divisions (Group
Treasury, Personal & Corporate Banking, Global Wealth
Management). We perform last mile reviews of the
balance sheet and income statement. We have daily
interaction with various internal clients located globally
including entity & divisional financial controllers, regulatory
& external reporting teams as well as numerous
stakeholders covering regulatory analytics such as RWA,
LCR, L&F, LRD.
Your expertise
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant position
• bachelor degree preferably in Finance, Economics or
Accounting
• strong accounting/financial background (being in
progress of ACCA, CFA, CIMA or other relevant
certification would be an asset)
• knowledge of banking industry and financial instruments
• very good written and spoken English (knowledge of
German would be an asset)
• proficiency in MS Excel (VBA knowledge would be
additional asset)
• fluent in English, both spoken and written
• practice in SAP & Business Objects would be an asset
• you are motivated, self-directed and creative as well as
adaptable and able to work across teams, functions, and
cultures
