Citi is growing our Private Bank franchise by providing highly sophisticated institutional-level solutions along with traditional private banking offerings such as trust and lending.
Technology is a key component for the Private Bank helping allowing Citi to bring together the consumer and institutional worlds providing innovative and insightful solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Specifically, the successful candidate will:
- Manage all Tax projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, quality, budget, and timeline.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with business goals and coordinate various managers and technical staff during all project phases, from initiation, development through implementation and support.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders, sponsors and stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team.
- Deliver appropriate and effective stakeholder communication.
- Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline.
- Demonstrate extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques.
- Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with key stakeholders and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
- Continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices.

Required Skills:
- The successful candidate must 10 – 15 years of experience in areas such as technology and project management.
- Excellent experience in project management methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall.
- Experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.
- Experience in successfully leading projects to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Experience building a team, evaluating, developing and attracting talent.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of program / project management methodologies such as PMP, Scrum/Agile.
- Strong Knowledge of data management platforms and tools.
- 10+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- 10+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation.
- 10+ years of experience with full project lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.
- Adequate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs.
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment.
- Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities.
- Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Projects, Tools: MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
