We’re looking for someone like that to:
• Manage our Wroclaw based Data Center Mission Control team who are the center point for monitoring, incident, problem, change and request management within our global Data Center and Mission Critical Facility estate
• Oversee the active monitoring of incident, problem and change work queues and respond to Data Center issues using established protocols to coordinate resource or vendor response
• Be responsible for the planning and coordinating of all the activities to agreed service levels, standards and quality
• Update stakeholders, and drive timely resolution
• Solve complex issues, covering both technical and business needs
• Act as an escalation point between Technology Operations Center and business stakeholders
• Interface with external service providers to resolve incidents and request
• Provide reporting and analysis of ticket based data to identify trends, repeat offenders and opportunities to automate future resolution
• Ensure workflows, processes, tooling and applications are of the highest quality and make recommendations for improvements
• Maintain a knowledge database of known errors and help initiate and deliver process improvements
Your team
You'll be part of the TOC Data Center Mission Control Management team who provide 24x7 follow-the-sun front line support for the Global Data Center Services Operation function. You will be contributing to the prevention, and resolution, of all related incidents. The Mission Control role is instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our monitoring tool kits on a daily basis. Your work will involve daily collaboration with teams across the globe.
Your expertise
• 5+ years' experience in Finance or Investment Banking technology operations support
• 2+ years of experience in people management
• Previous experience in service desk, incident management or similar
• An understanding of technology solutions and services such as networks, operating systems, infrastructure components, applications, and/or Data Center mechanical and electrical systems - preferred
• Excellent and proven incident and change management and organization skills
• ITIL Foundation certified - preferred
• Mission motivated and a strong collaborator
• Fluent in Business English and able to communicate clearly & effectively verbally and in written materials
• Comfortable and confident facing off and interacting with senior IT and business managers
