Delivery Assurance Team Lead - German speaker
Work location: Shell Energy Campus, Czerwone Maki 85

Job description:

To lead the local Delivery Assurance team to achieve operational excellence in the day-to-day execution of Order Generation and Fulfillment, Dispatching, and Administration in the most cost-effective manner

  • Ensure that daily road transport operations (delivering and administrating) meet all Group standards at lowest possible cost to service level

  • Support initiatives of the data integration management and global IT initiatives for the secondary transport process e.g. implementation of Streamline (GSAP, Cross and VMI) and ensure the right use of software applications

  • Drive improvements in customer experience and customer satisfaction by training, sharing expertise and coaching the team

  • Drive improvements in dispatching & supportive scheduling area activities by training, sharing expertise and coaching Delivery Assurance team

  • Support multiple projects to continuously improve OTD performance, driver and haulier performance, influence and improve customer behavior (eg minimize stock-outs, cancelled deliveries, site inaccessibility, incompliant order taking, other rework costs) using benchmarks, KPI monitoring

  • Ensure proper staffing through attraction, coaching and development of people, covering aspects like D & I, Competences, Performance Management and Recognition & Reward, supported by OtD manager.

Dimensions:
Covering DACH market with 9 hauliers
Manages a team of 12 FTEs working in 24/7 shift work
Typically, create efficient link and feedback loop between scheduling team, drivers, Customers, depots, supply, scheduling admin, road transport operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading people, Motivating, Coaching & Developing others

  • Experience in managing dynamic operational environment

  • Capacity to rapidly learn new skills and methods /business/function

  • Good change management and influencing skills

  • Experience working across regions and teams

  • Demonstrated presentation, leadership skills

  • Strong & proven stakeholder engagement & management skills

  • Highly motivated and resilient individual

  • Business and commerciality focused: understanding of key business processes and value opportunities within an organization

  • Role Model in terms of Continuous Improvement

  • Nice to have some project management skills and experience

  • Understanding of an E2E supply chain and planning processes and/or systems is highly recommended

  • German C1 is a must

  • Polish language is recommended for team management
