The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines:

International Operations Centre (IOC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe.

Custody & clearing services offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland and other markets.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support and advice to managers and employees in assigned client group and deliver customer focussed, expert advisory and innovative HR practices and processes.
  • Provide second level controls for HR Administration Processes
  • Propose and facilitate new HR strategies and initiatives in response to business needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach, support and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices through advice on HR issues in order to minimise risk to the business.
  • Manage all employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management, etc.
  • Advise and support the business in restructuring activities, conducting consultations with managers to affected employees as necessary.
  • Review and analyse data in order to develop and implement HR practices that meet the specific needs of the business and local obligations.
  • Develop and communicate HR metrics that demonstrate added value and identify where changes in practices and policies are required
  • In conjunction with the Recruitment Specialist, support the business to actively manage an appropriate balance of resources to meet changing needs, fulfilling the short and long term strategy through resource and succession planning.
  • Coach and support managers in ensuring employees at all levels possess and develop the skills knowledge and experience to fulfil the business strategy and that they are motivated to learn, grow and perform coaching and learning and development activity by collaborating with managers and the Development & Career Specialist to identify skills gaps and supporting career development initiatives.
  • To ensure an excellent level of quality of data by completing second level controls on the HR Administration processes.
  • Coach and develop leadership skills around employee relations and talent management based on company culture
  • Assist employees with enquiries and concerns. Act as an impartial advocate for fair and equitable treatment
  • Ensure site talent strategies are in place that anticipate our local need for talent
  • Develop local HR policies & practices that support our culture and the vision of the business
  • Leading and participating in HR projects
  • Improvement and optimization of HR processes

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in HR positions
  • Knowledge of labor law in Poland
  • Intermediate to advanced level on Microsoft packages
  • Experience in cooperation with multicultural stakeholders
  • Strong command of HR processes and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Credible experience in relationship management with business managers and HR professionals
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others (both in Polish and English)
  • Builds a track record of reliable and valued delivery using relevant technical expertise and experience and does so with integrity and in an objective manner
  • Shows courage and confidence to speak up, challenges others even when confronted with resistance or unfamiliar circumstances
  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze and understand data and information quickly
  • Demonstrates a consistent and strong bias to action, taking accountability for delivery of results both personally and/or with others
  • Consistently leads by example. Acts with integrity, impartiality and independence, applying sound personal judgment in all interactions
