We now have an open position as for the industrial IOT area where you will be responsible for delivering the portfolio of projects through a high performing team.
About the job
You will join an international department and you will be working with 190 colleagues in Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Poland and UK. Our team is responsible for the development of new IT solutions in Arla, which includes everything from IT systems controlling, the manufacturing process at a dairy to large SAP solutions, apps to our farmers and web shops for our consumers.
You will be responsible for delivering IT solutions, including turning business needs into project requests, drive the process to ensure funding and leading/managing the actual project/EPIC execution. This includes building up and leading a team of highly skilled solution consultants and scrum masters as well as managing vendor relations and agreements.
You will be working in a scaled agile setup (SAFe) with cross functional agile teams with colleagues from IT Solutions and external consultants. We strongly believe in agile ways of working, frequent deliveries and empowerment.
Specifically, you will:
- Have overall responsibility for planning and execution of activities in alignment with corporate objectives for IT Strategy and business plans
- Manage the function’s budget and resources
- Be responsible for securing proper resource allocation – both own and external resources (vendors)
- Proactively agree on and align team performance targets to Arla Foods IT’s overall targets (timely, consistently, quality-wise etc.)
- Be responsible for all vendor/supplier management including quality assurance
- Lead team towards business to secure optimal use and utilization of the implemented solutions/systems
- Lead and develop and coach your team towards further solution standardization, optimized usage and better utilization of new and existing applications
Who are you?
You have an agile mindset combines with a strong delivery/result focus. You can be described as a strong collaborator and facilitator, able to handle cooperation across different functions, locations and cultures. Your high engagement and energy allow you to move and look for new ways to improve current ways of working.
Furthermore, you have:
- Education at Bachelor/Master’s level within Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business administration
- Experience with working Agile, preferably SAFe experience
- A Prince2/IPMA certification or similar
- At least 8 years of experience within IT development
- Strong experience in managing IT teams
- Broad experience with various Digital tools, Production IT and Logistics platforms will be an advantage
- Fluency in English
