In this role, you have the opportunity to
develop within Procurement organization. Drives the demand side of market and project procurement (Bill of Materials & IMS projects) geared to optimize total costs by ensuring the best possible solution in the applicable region/area.
As Procurement Project Manager - Customer Service Productivity, you will drive Procurement performance. You will be accountable for driving procurement projects in the area of services and solutions, LEAN, Design for Excellence, stakeholder engagement events, negotiation events, improvement projects boosting the team’s performance by working with a global team of commodity managers and locally based market procurement teams.
You will be responsible for:
- End2End managing of a project to develop a product, technology, system, solutions, services or IT solutions: from the initial start until the introduction in the Market or until internal company delivery;
- Managing the project by keeping the schedule, cost, quality and scope on track by proper risk and escalation management;
- Supporting Strategic Cost Productivity Projects for Philips Customer Service;
- Driving productivity for our customer services organization for spend that is managed in via Philips leverage contracts (e.g. Bill of Material Procurement and/or Indirect Materials and Services);
- Communicates accurately and timely project metrics to all key stakeholders
- Managing a funnel of opportunities, creating opportunities through DFX methodology and support high impact implementation projects;
- Driving innovation from suppliers and to achieve cost efficiencies;
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Graduate with master’s degree;
- Able to work in X functional teams;
- 5-10 years of experience in project management environment (in procurement, project management -must have; customer services, transformation – nice to have);
- Able to deal with different cultures (global roles / international experience);
- Fluent in English;
- Able to drive change, result driven;
- Able to deal with ambiguity;
- Good understanding of lean and process improvements methodologies;
