Your role

We’re looking for someone like that who is: involved in end to end testing activities including: test preparation, test execution (both manual and automation), test reporting, able to look beyond the status quo and identify areas of constant change/improvement able to analyse applications thoroughly & come up with own ideas to automate some of the process to make our life easier.

Your team

You will be part of a core Front office Electronic Trading application team in IB GED (Investment Banking Global Equity Derivatives) whose focus will be on Investment banking business operated in Switzerland, London, Hongkong and US. Candidate must have a proven track record in a QA. Substantial experience with Quality Control methodology is required, specifically requirements/testing tractability, test planning, test execution, defect management, and project level reporting.

Your expertise

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a QA engineer
• Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes, specially JIRA
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Solid knowledge of SQL specially writing select SQL statements for data validation and extraction from Database
• Experience in review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Nice to Have:
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Understand Banking terms and have a prior experience of a quality engineer in Banks or Financial companies
