Test Specialist

Location - Kraków

EMEA Packaging is currently working on the major business change in the Order To Invoice (OTI) process. We are looking to implement a fully integrated system (CPMS) provided by Witron. Current scope of the project includes Box plants in Italy, France and Spain. In order to support the project team with implementation, we are looking to create COE (Center Of Excellence) EMEA Packaging Team that will support application testing. To conduct effective and successful implementation we need dedicated Test Specialist to look after quality assurance via planned and controlled testing phase. Team is reporting to Business Program Manager and will be part of the project team.

You will have a chance to participate in big international project team and support areas of application testing, data preparation and change management process. This role will evolve toward sustainable business process/data administration in future.

As a Test Specialist you will:

  • Learn and understand end to end (E2E) process for sales, distribution and manufacturing within EMEA Packaging Box plants.
  • Learn CPMS system - leading ERP in corrugated packaging world.
  • Get to know how to document business process, execute testing scenario and report on results.
  • Learn various testing methodologies and how to track and resolve testing issues with usage of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.

This is an exciting project and position for a person who wants to gain IT and business knowledge as well as experience in project management.

You will:

  • Identify test requirements by participation in process walkthrough and gap analyses.
  • Timely manage executable test case creation for assigned business area.
  • Plan testing by analyzing a scope of implementation and coordinating creation of the plan with Deployment team.
  • Execute test scenarios using ALM to capture test results.
  • Drive defect resolution by coordinating involvement of all parties and facilitating troubleshooting.
  • Report test metric using ALM reporting capability to monitor agreed KPI.
  • Review and support training material creation and creation and update, based on actual test results.

This is work in multinational environment where majority of business discussions are in English language. Mostly stationary with occasional (10%) travel across Europe.

You have:

  • Ability to learn fast.
  • Desire to learn technical aspects.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Technical and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Efficient communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Understanding of business processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in software testing.
  • Fluency in English (as a must), Spanish and Italian will be additional advantage.
  • Fluent with basic office tools (MS Office, Outlook, Visio).
