As Domain Architect, you will also ensure the efficient and effective elaboration, validation, and communication of the domain architecture and you will guarantee that the right investments in IT are made from an architecture perspective within the domain.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Set overall standards and direction in the business/technical domain, ensuring the right IT investments are made and elaborate the domain architecture’s baseline, target architecture, roadmap covering capabilities, applications, platforms, services, information, data, technologies, etc. and architecture-relevant relations among these.
• Settle domain architecture-significant drivers (e.g. vision, strategy, objectives), communicate standards for a given architecture domain and elaborate domain-specific Reference Architecture, including architecture taxonomy, architecture patterns and principles, solution architecture adoption guides, etc.
• Estimate solution architecture, design, and efforts for projects and to suggest and compile the required resources and assigning responsibilities connected to a defined time schedule; guide the solution architects for the domain and perform the required solution architecture reviews, following the governance defined by Enterprise Architecture.
• Incorporate digital and data technology directions into solution architecture design, assure that the key solutions of the domain (enterprise standard, cross division or division standards) have a documented architecture (Architecture Handbook) stored in a common repository serviced by Architecture Governance and analyze wider industry trends and best practice to identify outstanding IT and direction.
• Find opportunities to improve architecture domain (e.g. opportunities to reduce duplication, consolidate applications and platforms, improve operational deficiencies, close existing capability gaps, etc.) and take accountability to ensure alignment with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within domain architecture scope.
• Advise global process owners during business processes definition to maximize the usage of SAP standard functionality
• Design, develop and maintain complex business processes with minimal direction from configuration owners in the SAP landscape
• Work with multiple teams to develop detailed and complete functional specifications for complex uses cases within the SAP landscape
• Work with multiple teams to define testing strategy and elaborate comprehensive tests plans for complex use cases
• Review design and configuration work of other internal and external consultants to identify and resolve integration issues

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• University degree or adequate equivalent work experience in Finance domain.
• Minimum 10+ years of FICO implementation experience and at least 2 years of upgrade experience.
• Deep knowledge of ECC FICO and S/4 Central Finance architecture and core processes.
• Extensive experience delivering SAP Finance solutions (SAP FI/CO) including proven project contributions as a Solution Architect.
• Strong Enterprise IT architecture background (processes, data, methodologies, frameworks).
• 10 years’ experience performing architecture design, end-to-end solution delivery, implementing IT process improvement.
• Experience in designing solution architecture with on premise and cloud/SaaS applications, in digital technology (e.g. data, robotics, cognitive) development domain architecture design and in working in projects that are using Agile and DevOps best practices.
• Extensive experience delivering SAP Finance solutions (SAP FI/CO) including proven project contributions as a Solution Architect.
• Hands on configuration experience with AR/AP, Electronic Banking, Cash Management, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Asset Accounting, etc.
• Experience in consumer goods industry or electronics industry is highly preferred.
• Experience and ability to design functional and technical solutions for standard and non-standard FICO processes with appropriate attention to detail.
• Demonstrable experience as an SAP consultant, with experience rolling out projects internationally Involved with at least two end-to-end full lifecycle projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident, with the ability to influence and persuade
• Analytical and results focused
• Experience of both reacting to and of solving problems
• An understanding of how complex matrix organisations operate; international experience is an advantage
