Your role

Do you want to be at the point of entry for all corporate and entity governance matters affecting a global banking group? Are you eager to support implementation of group-wide governance standards in UBS, as well as its organizational development and simplification? Would you thrive in helping changing the firm and delivering on strategic initiatives in a dynamic and diverse environment?

We’re looking for someone like that to help us:

• develop, maintain and administer standards, documents and tools supporting governance frameworks owned by the team
• advice on and support implementation of governance and structural arrangement across UBS
• support various thematic governance reviews to ensure adherence to firm-wide high governance standards
• support firm-wide organizational simplification efforts together with key stakeholders

Your team

You’ll be working in the Corporate Structure and Governance team in Eximius Park in Zabierzow. We are part of the Group Governance unit within the Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance function. The team focuses on consistent development and application of the firm's corporate and entity governance standards, optimization of its legal entity structure and reduction of organizational complexity across the firm.

Your expertise

• a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or law
• at least two years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in business development, risk management, legal and / or compliance
• a genuine interest in corporate and entity governance, regulatory aspects and industry-specific developments
• sharp analytical skills, sound judgment and ability to critically assess complex arrangements
• strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to convey succinct messages on complex matters
• an excellent team player that is able to challenge with an independent mindset
• organized, detail oriented and able to work under pressure
• proficient user of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• fluent in written and verbal English
