This role is for an AML Application Technology Manager to support AML Monitoring projects. The role will require a thorough understanding of AML monitoring platforms and working experience with Oracle databases and Linux based application server platforms. The position sits within the Global Functions Technology Services (GFTS) AML Technology team, reporting to AML Technology team lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing projects in close cooperation with both regional and global teams.
- Assist in the delivery and management of AML Monitoring strategic toolset.
- Managing teams in building, configuration and maintenance of environments in the region.
- Leading EMEA AML Monitoring projects and resources.
- Become a subject matter expert in the domain and face off against the business to represent the optimal technology solutions and ensure that these meet their needs.
- Represent EMEA business and technology needs in discussions with global teams in driving requirements to ensure they meet the distinct regional mandates as applicable.
- Assist in requirements gathering, application releases and budgetary discussions.
- Ensure all issues are escalated / documented according to Citigroup Information Technology Management Policies.
Requirements:
- Experience working in large financial sector technology projects is essential.
- 7+ years technical experience with understanding of Banking domains – with AML knowledge being a distinct plus.
- Experience using databases and other tracking tools to enforce global consistency.
- The individual will require technical knowledge supporting large banking batch systems including:
- Experience with data warehouses, Oracle, SQL and other standard database query tools
- Experience with ETL tools including Informatica
- Experience with database modelling and data warehousing principles
- Experience with AML specific tool set a distinct plus with a focus on Oracle Mantas AML and BigData (Cloudera) monitoring platforms.
- Balanced blend of analytical skills, problem solving, reporting, and communication skills.
- Advanced organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking and following up.
- Experience in building environments to support project implementations.
