We’re looking for software engineers to:
• be part of the design and implementation of our Intraday Liquidity reporting application as we move to be one of the first teams to use our cloud based big data solution.
• analyse business requirements for our current and upcoming regulatory and MIS commitments
• deliver sustainable and scalable solutions using distributed processing
• providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
Your team
You’ll be working in Group Treasury IT team in Krakow to implement Intraday Liquidity Management Reporting. It will involve very close co-operation with other members of the team in Switzerland, the ILM Analytics team, CTO representatives in Operations IT, Finance IT and GALM IT.
Our role in Finance, Risk and Analytics Service (FRAS) is to design and implement IT products that ensure complex regulatory requirements and transformation programs are tracked through to solution. We are helping transform our organization through best in class technology architecture principles leveraging Cloud, AI and Agile methodologies. We are a global IT team supporting our internal clients throughout the world
Your expertise
• software engineer/developer focused on distributed computing solutions, ideally delivered to the cloud. Application development and data modelling best practices.
• experience coding in PySpark essential
• other coding languages desirable, Python, Scala, Java
• experienced with HDFS/ADLS
• experience with RDBMS, strong SQL skills, PL/SQL knowledge an advantage
• experience of visualisation and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI) and advantage
• know-how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by our SDLC
• produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
• have strong analytical & design skills and be structured and systematic in your approach
• experienced working on teams using Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, TDD)
• excellent communicator, able to adapt style and detail to the audience
• fluent in English essential
• finance sector, banking and/or Treasury experience is an advantage
