Arla is a global farmer-owned organisation that is behind many well-known and loved brands, including Arla Apetina®, Castello®, Lurpak® and many, many more.
As a , you become a part of our Global Shared Services and the Arla Analytics Power House in IT Solutions in Gdansk. Here, you won’t find factory machines or farmers. Instead, you will join over 400 colleagues dedicated to supporting all of Arla with IT, HR, financial and procurement operations. Joining us, you will take part in our mission to make a real difference for colleagues near and far.

About the job
In that role, you’ll join a team delivering future advanced analytics solutions, new digital services and tools across all Arla. You will develop complex, value-bringing digital products using Azure analytics, among other tools, while working closely with architects, data scientists, data engineers and product owners in the team.
Specifically, you will:
- Design, develop and support our cloud-based analytics solutions and applications
- Work in an agile environment delivering solutions across Arla

Furthermore, you:
- have strong experience in .NET Full Stack development – Entity Framework for ADO.NET and ASP.NET Core, MS SQL Server and C#
- have experience with coding in Python
- have experience creating clean, interactive user interfaces JavaScript and UI Frameworks (React)
- have experience in SQL Server designing and developing objects, tables, data models, stored procedures, scripting, views, triggers
- have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools are familiar with Agile principles and practices and the application of these in delivering products
- are a fluent speaker in English
Nice-To-Haves:
- Web UI / UX design skills – developing beautiful, easy to use customer facing systems
- Experience working with cloud services, SQL Database and BLOB storage in Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory and Azure Datalake
- Experience with Azure DataBricks, or Spark
- Experience with Work Item Management tools, such as Azure DevOps.
- Processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data
- Developing and consuming RESTful API services

Global Shared Services consists of multiple functions that are all placed in the Neptun building in Gdansk – with colourful offices and a beautiful sea view.
As of now, we have an IT Operations and an IT Solutions division working mostly with SAP and Microsoft, as well as a variety of in house app development and implementation projects. Our procurement and finance functions support a wide array of processes such as purchasing, distribution and sales globally.
We also have a dedicated HR operations division to ensure we attract, develop and retain the very best of talent around the world.
