Job description:
The position will provide support in cost controlling area to the NL Wells Operated and Non-Operated and is integral part of the Wells team. NAM Wells business delivers new Well engineering projects, Well interventions to create or maintain value from incremental production across existing portfolio and Plug and Abandonment activities to ensure wells are abandoned safely whilst maximizing value in execution.
The role will be an active virtual business partner from FO Krakow that will co-own the Global Well Delivery Process delivering credible opportunities, competitive delivery and affordable execution.
Requirements:

Professionally qualified Cost Engineer or Finance Specialist.

Relevant experience (min 4 years) in the field of cost control or accounting/controlling.

Thorough understanding of projects management environment allowing quality cost (budget) control.

Proven experience in the Upstream/Wells business, Cost Control, Project Accounting and Business Partnering are advantageous.

Financial acumen and strong business partnering skills allowing to build effective professional relations as well as challenge the Business to think through strategic issues and value opportunities.

Strong interpersonal skills capable of working closely with and influencing other staff at all levels within Finance and the Business. Able to work across organizational boundaries.

Enthusiastic high energy individual that is keen to work in an area that operates at the very heart of the Operated Upstream business.

Able to work independently, taking initiative for own work and that of other staff where appropriate. Strong self-starting capabilities.
