Your role

Are you able to handle multiple priorities (combination of new and repetitive) with energy and enthusiasm? Do you want to work closely with senior management on driving the function forward?

We are looking for a Team Leader to:
– acknowledge, verify and validate client and fund contribution, withdrawal, redemption and subscription notifications
– work with Portfolio Managers on contribution/withdrawal requests
– ensure timely and accurate settlement of flow activity
– Handle escalated enquiries and complaints, driving the proper resolution to the end.
– Proactively identify service delivery failures and escalate issue/impact to appropriate business owners
– recruit, train, cultivate and retain great people
– develop the knowledge, skills and experience of team members
– manage team activities to achieve performance targets, operational level agreements and service levels
– make sure administrative tasks (like holiday planning and working time) comply with internal policies and legal requirements

Your team

You will be working in the Asset Management Operations Flow Processing Service Delivery Function, providing timely and accurate processing of flow activity within UBS Asset Management Client Mandates and Products.
The team, based in Wroclaw, Poland, is part of a global function which has presence in London, Chicago, Zurich and Singapore. The team works in close conjunction with Investment Teams, Client Coverage Areas, Custodians, Order Generators and various global Operation teams.

Your expertise

– A proven team leader with good communication and organizational skills, able to manage, coach and motivate the operations teams with minimum of 5 years of team management experience
– exposure to an accounting or receipts environment (highly desired)
– exposure within flow or a related processing environment (highly desired)
– communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

– Good organization skills and ability to prioritize to meet business deadlines
– a strong risk-awareness mentality
– the ability to multi-task and solve problems
– Experience in monitoring and improving performance.

You are:
– fluent in English
– adaptable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
– highly numerate and have excellent PC skills, including excel
– accountable for your actions
– able to work collaboratively within a team
– able to provide constructive challenge
– delivery orientated
