Brown Brothers Harriman is looking for a talented and self-motivated Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to be a member of the Client Master Reference Data team. The individual in this role will be responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and troubleshooting of the MDM solutions as well as providing technical leadership for the team. Responsibilities will include development of the new interfaces, enhancements to existing interfaces and troubleshooting issues. Non-technical skillset should include a high degree of organization, effective communication, the ability to work with internal and external teams that include system/business analysts, developers, managers and testers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Understand business requirements, design technical specification & develop new components for the MDM framework, identifying structures and processes to ensure that relevant data is captured.

• Participate in and guide technical design sessions within the Client Master team. Assist in identifying and designing solutions to be built and/or modified for the overall wellness of the domain.

• Participate in walk-throughs, which will review MDM Components, source code, and all technical supporting documentation. Provide feedback in accordance with team standards and guidelines.

• Maintain integrity, metadata and data lineage for MDM data intake processes including onboarding new sources via data profiling to identify data quality checks.

• Actively participate in data integration, data profiling, data validation and data quality processes and resolve data mapping and data quality issues in partnership with QA and development teams.

• Develop and validate use case scenarios for new data intake, as well as, continuous regression validation of existing data relationships and lineage.

• Engage and interact with business and IT stakeholders to understand master data requirements and current constraints.

• Develop unit and integration testcases that thoroughly exercise logic to ensure application functionality and performance about business requirements.

• Guide and provide training to other team members.

Qualifications for your role would include:

• 4+ years of Informatica MDM data management experience. (MDM v10 preferred)

• Experience in full lifecycle of MDM implementations.

• Experience in developing and designing solutions in Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), including Informatica Data Director (IDD) and Entity 360.

• Experience in configuring Master Data Management Land/Stage tables for data load into MDM Base tables and validation of the load

• Experience in configuring Hierarchy Manager, Single Sign-on, Cleanse Functions and Trust Configuration

• Should have good communication skills, analytical ability and problem-solving skills

• Should be able to articulate the issues and propose viable solutions

Nice To Have:

• Experience in building Master Data Management APIs using BES

• Experience in configuring elastic search in Informatica MDM.

• Experience with Oracle Relational databases and / or Oracle Exadata.

• Experience with integration using an ETL Tool (ODI Preferred)

• Experience in working with WebSphere Application Server

• Experience in Java programming (MDM User Exits, SIF and BES)

• Knowledge of financial services is a plus
