The VBA/ Ops Risk Analyst provides support to State Street Poland in the area of macro development and operational risk management.

What you will be responsible for
As Visual Basic Operations Specialist you will

Prioritize incoming macro requests based on cost –benefit and impact on mitigation operational risk,

Work with Operations to define macro requirements

Design target solution (macro automating/ fixing a fragment of a process)

Build final macro solution, implement, document, test and deliver
-
Maintain and follow up in case of issues or future changes requests

Facilitate/ gather information on process weaknesses from operational risk standpoint
-
Developing, implementing and maintaining risk indicators for operations
-
Analyze errors captured within operations and make sure that corresponding gaps within procedures, processes are closed

Monitor office wide KPI’s

Take active part in operational risk committee (i.e. presenting updates on recent major process/ macro developments)

Solid VBA knowledge and experience in creating, implementing, developing and managing macros and advanced Excel spreadsheets

Knowledge of the systems architecture related to fund accounting and administration

Some project management skills and experience

Excellent communication skills and capable of interacting with user community

Strong organization skills including demonstrated tenacity for following up with team members and leadership on outstanding items

Should be flexible, proactive and dynamic with a willingness to take on a varied workload in support of the Project Manager/ PMO
Education & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in macros development

2-3 years of financial services and/ or project related experience

Bachelor’s Degree in technology, accounting, finance, business or equivalent;
