Your new team

The Third Party Relationship Management team connects the dots for Investment Managers with their external Brokers, Custodians, Investment Companies and the internal State Street teams supporting Middle Office functions to provide a top-quality client experience and service delivery.

Who we are looking for

An individual with investment services industry experience and solid financial instruments comprehension. Fluent command of English and intermediate level of German language is required.

Your new role

As Client Servicing Senior Representative you will

  • Establish and maintain good business relationships with our clients and assist with their inquiries in a professional manner
  • Establish and maintain an effective collaboration with the joint venture offshore teams as well as onshore oversight teams
  • Coordinate client requirements as an interface between client relationship management, middle office and back office/operations to ensure appropriate and effective delivery
  • Address findings and errors in order to prevent occurrences and create written procedures where needed
  • Escalation contact for the client, several local and foreign banks, investment companies, brokers as well as internal departments globally
  • Assist with creation of Score Cards and Rankings by sourcing, analyzing and processing of data
  • Independent research and resolution of complex issues that may arise; liaising with various counterparts on behalf of the client
  • Support project work to conceptualize and implement new team related processes or optimize existing processes

What we value

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • University/College degree in Finance, Economics or related areas of study
  • Operational experience in the financial servicing sector with understanding of various financial instruments, especially settlement and derivatives
  • 3-4 years of industry experience is required
  • Good technical skills in using MS Office, knowledge of VBA and Tableau would be of benefit
  • Fluency in English and fluency/medium level in German is required (other European language is an asset)
  • Strong organizational and communications skills as well as team orientation
  • Ability to deal with external as well as global operating parties in an efficient manner, considering cultural differences
  • Self-motivated with the strength to take control and ownership of a situation
  • Able to operate under pressurized situations with time sensitive deadlines
