Your role

Are you a System Administration and looking to grow your career on the products like VMware, vROps, VCSA, Citrix XenDesktop, Netscaler, Ivanti, HP and Dell Chassis?
Are you an expert in monitoring and confident to act when a threshold is met?

We’re looking for an IT System Administrator to:

• Continually monitor the health of the systems infrastructure, respond quickly to problems, and proactively troubleshoot irregularities before they become service-impacting issues (including performance tuning)
• Support VMware platform which hosts ESXi 5.5/6.5, vROps, VCSA 6.x
• Create PowerShell script to automate multiple day to day task
• Actively participate in incident channels and send communication related to Infrastructure issues
• Raise and work on Change activities to resolve issues, stabilize the environment, remediate vulnerability, enable monitoring, etc.,
• Take initiative in identifying issues in the environment and work pro-actively with team members on resolving them.
• Have excellent communication skills and work effectively between teams, escalating issues to appropriate team.
• Work on shifts and during weekend for support when required, whilst not a frequent occurrence we do expect your involvement beyond 9-5 when needed

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Hosted Services (GHS) team in Wrocław, Poland. We provide operational support to global virtual environment located across APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions. As an IT System Administrator(AO), you’ll play an important role in monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure issues, involve in incident management calls and co-ordinate with multiple teams on daily basis

Your expertise

• core Required Skills – VMware ESXi 5.0/6.5, vROps 7.x, vCenter 5.x and above, PowerShell scripting
• 6+ years of experience with VMware ESXi 5.5/6.5, vCenter 5.x/6.x is strongly required. This experience should include the planning, deployment, configuration and administration of host systems and virtual machines
• 4+ years of experience in creating PowerShell scripts with regards to VMWare activities
• expertise in configuration of virtual switches and network connections
• confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
• must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends or holidays as required
