Purpose of the role: The main purpose of this role is to overtake a part of the process within the accounting transactions with efficiency and high quality, ensure that all activities meet the requirements and policies, build the strong relationship with stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
Timely and diligently performing allocated tasks assigned by management in the area of:
- Provide accounting information from diverse systems for tax purposes,
- GL related transactions in Oracle system,
- Balance sheet reconciliation process,
- Balance sheet review preparation,
- Ensure daily processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner,
- Participating in audit package annual process,
- Performing period-end activities,
- Responding to queries from different stakeholders,
- Dealing with ad-hoc administrative duties,
- Identifying potential process improvements,
- Supporting other team members in day to day processes.
What you’ll need:
- Good language skills in English,
- University degree educational background in finance and accounting will be highly regarded,
- Practical knowledge of MS office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word),
- Experience in an international environment will be an asset,
- Experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g., Oracle),
- Good understanding of general accounting principles and GL area,
- Previous experience with Tax area will be an asset,
- Analytical skills, attention to details,
- Service oriented and professional working approach,
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team,
- Related experience in finance / accounting area 2 year (for Accountant position).
