We are looking for an experienced Cloud transformation lead to:
• evangelise our Cloud Strategy and drive this forward with a mind to optimize cost
• partner with Tech and Business stakeholders across the organization and provide guidance for global, multicultural projects teams
• help our application teams on their journey to the Azure Cloud and create an environment of trust and collaboration
• think and act strategically to deliver outstanding solutions for our clients
• understand, anticipate and explain problems and be able to involve the right groups to resolve issues
• consult development teams towards cloud migration and application development in Cloud Native way
• evaluate cloud services and suggests the right service and technology to be used

Your team

You’ll be joining a growing Finance Technology team, specifically in the Cloud Infrastructure Management function within Finance CTO team. You will be working from Poland or Pune office to manage projects global in nature. We provide Finance services as part of Group Functions providing services on General Ledger, regulatory reporting for Institutional Banking and Wealth Management functions in the organization. We are responsible for numerous critical applications essential to the smooth running of the bank. We are a small friendly bunch who take pride in the quality of work that we do.

Your expertise

• strong experience of Azure Services Administration and monitoring and solution design for Cloud native applications
• certification in Azure Cloud Fundamentals and ideally an Azure Administrator or even an Azure Architect
• experience in managing and optimizing Cloud cost and consumption
• experience in scripting and setting up triggers in Azure for optimum utilization of resources
• experience in using tools such as Azure Advisor, Azure Calculator
• a good experience and awareness of Azure services related to VM, Storage, Network gateways, restricted subscriptions, data analytics and database services
• a good understanding of IT infrastructure and IT delivery in a multi-project environment with globally distributed teams
• strong experience of change management and working with or on a Change Advisory Board
• strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills - both written and verbal
• strong problem-solving skills in combination with a can-do attitude. Capable of taking responsibility within the team on daily development tasks
• a robust understanding of the software development lifecycle and software engineering processes
• experience in or a willingness to learn tools such as Azure DevOps, Python, GitLab etc
• experience in agile way of working
