This role’s objective is to support migration global fund administration and depository batch compliance processing currently performed across ten MIG21 instances.

We are looking for CRD Integration specialist with strong analytical skills and investment compliance background.
What you will be responsible for:

Investment Compliance Specialist within the MIG21 to CRD Conversion Project team.

This position is in a specialized group responsible for the conversion of the legacy investment compliance system to Charles River IMS:
-
Review and comparison of rules between CRIMS and the legacy system through automated tools.
-
Where necessary, updating test logic manually to ensure it meets both client requirements and system best practices.

Developing / coding compliance tests in automated investment compliance software (Charles River)
-
Translating client requirements into rule syntax within the compliance platform
-
Documenting requirements for process improvements or functional changes / enhancements

Process optimization

Best practice documentation

Project Management duties:
-
Manage and execute upon platform conversion plans and new client onboarding activities.

Execute upon enhancement requests of varying scale and complexity

Support BAU and production issues for converted clients (post-implementation support).

Assess operational effectiveness and make suggestions to streamline and improve upon functions, workflow and processes.

Help manage relationships with clients, making sure that requests are being met and that internal / external clients are satisfied with the level of service.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Preferably 3+ years of experience in Industry
• Investment Compliance background preferred: Contractual investment compliance restrictions, SEC and IRC guidelines for registered investment products, money market restrictions, UCITS or other regulated environments.
• Experience working with Bloomberg data or other market data vendors an asset(IDC, RIMES MDS, Reuters)
• Experience administering and supporting rules-based applications and reporting tools.
• Preferred expertise in CRIMS: & Microsoft Office: Excel
• Technical experience with the following is highly desirable but not required:
SQL Queries (PL SQL, Toad, MS SQL Server, or C++)
• CRD rule coding
• MIG rule coding
