The Finance Risk Infrastructure Business Solutions Team (FRIBS) is responsible for providing business and technology solutions for our Finance and Risk business partners. This role will require familiarity with business analysis implementation in the area of banking solutions, direct support of the Finance and Treasury Data Repository (FTDR) and other similar projects in the financial services domain. This position will provide an excellent opportunity to interact with many different business areas within the bank.

Your new role
The Business Analyst will perform business/systems analysis for various Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Risk, Planning and Analysis projects. This individual will liaise with the stakeholders and other divisions within State Street to ensure the delivery of quality products within the expected time-frames. This individual must demonstrate subject matter understanding ability to perform business analysis and create documentation that ensures that our development solutions are successfully implemented.
As Business Analyst you will be responsible for:

Monitoring Data Quality of Finance and Treasury Data Repository (FTDR),

Maintaining and developing Data Quality Framework built on the basis of BI Tool - TIBCO Spotfire,

Supporting Business Partners - FTDR consumers in using FTDR data for their processes, providing subject matter expertise in the required functional and application area,

Resolving upstream and downstream issues inquired by FTDR consumers, acting as a bridge between business and IT to ensure successful issue resolution ,

Preparing and maintaining FTDR documentation, such as SOPs and data mapping,

Being an active participant of the Continues Improvement Team initiative aiming to increase the team's productivity through appropriate analysis and re-engineering business processes,

Status reporting on assigned tasks.
What we value
Skills and experience needed to perform this function:

3+ years of working experience in a financial institution,

Experience in using BI Tools - TIBCO Spotfire or Power BI in creating dashboards and data profiling will be an additional advantage,

Strong Microsoft Office skills on Windows including: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel (including Power Query, Power Pivot), Word and Visio,

Knowledge of LEAN techniques,

Good understanding of the bank's financial statements - Balance Sheet and P&L,

Proficiency in English is a must.
