Your role

Are you passionate about financial markets? Do you have some years of experience in portfolio management and/or trading? Do you have an IT affinity to improve our platforms? Are you an accurate, focused and diligent professional used to working under pressure and sometimes tight deadlines?

We're looking for an associate implementation portfolio manager to:

• strengthen the portfolio implementation team and help to accurately manage our multi asset portfolios
• be responsible for the portfolio implementation as well as order placement in multi asset instruments in our portfolios
• own operational tasks within the team: positions reconciliation, fund flow calculation, equity and fixed income summary exposure, end of day check and monthly reporting
• participate in our IT efforts to improve our platform and be part of a transformational project that will increase the implementation efficiency within UBS Asset Management
• represent the team versus internal and external stakeholders (relationship managers, portfolio managers, IT)

Your team

You'll be part of the Portfolio Engineering and Trading multi asset fund team of UBS Asset Management in Krakow. We are responsible for managing active and passive multi asset portfolios for our client base. Your expertise

• a team player to actively collaborate and contribute to the overall team results. The highest level of integrity and professionalism
• a degree in a quantitative or finance discipline. Some additional qualifications are a plus: CFA, CIIA, FRM or IMC
• programming skills (VBA, Python)
• ideally 3-5 years of experience in asset management
• pay attention to detail and accuracy under pressure within tight time constraints
• strong affinity for systems and technology, including portfolio management systems and order management systems as well as trade execution platforms
• keen to take the initiative with solution-oriented thinking that can make an impact. Experience working in transnational projects with multicultural stakeholders
• fluent in English (German is a plus)
