We're looking for a strong Java Developer to:

• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• analyze business requirements for the Financing Reference Data
• design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
• providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production

Your team

You'll be working in the GFS Ref Data team based in our Krakow location. We analyze, develop and deliver global solutions to maintain or change our IT systems with our business counterparts.
Our software and tools are at the heart of UBS's Investment Bank where we provide bank-wide solutions to support the business processes in these functions.

Your expertise

• very Strong in Java Stack of Technologies including Spring.
• strong Knowledge in Design aspects of SDLC
• strong in Problem Solving
• reactJS, NodeJS nice to have
• worked on Micro services platform, Gateway, Securities, UNIX and Web Application
• knowledge of tools e.g. GIT, TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Database exposure and SQL experience
• knowledge of Containerized Applications (Using Dockers, Kubernetes or similar technologies)
• produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
• design, plan and deliver solutions in a large scale enterprise environment
• knowledge on Azure / Cloud
• agile development environment, ideally Scrum
