As E2E Business Process Expert Procurement you will join Philips’ GBPO Procurement team. On daily basis you will have a chance to accelerate one of the most innovative business lines of Philips. The goal is to design, develop and implement process improvement in the Purchasing area. You will drive harmonization of the Purchasing processes across of Services & Solutions Delivery Procurement and Consumer Care domains. You will work with Procurement and Finance Stakeholders, users of different Businesses, Markets and Functions, operational teams and IT to close process gaps, prevent them from recurring identified issues and/or provide knowledge to empower the operational teams to solve these cases themselves next time.

You are responsible for

  • Designing process & documented in a proper way according to Philips’s policies in S&S and Consumer Care Purchasing area.

  • Enable standardization and innovative solutions and drive the ‘digital’ agenda.

  • Identify and drive capabilities of the process by generating knowledge about the existing and future to-be business processes.

  • Interact with the other BPE’s to define the Process Design (processes, activities, task, work instructions).

  • Interact with Business Analyst to establish the detailed (IT) Solution Designs.

  • Design the project plan and define the project resources, in accordance with the goals, timing and budget constraints.

  • Control the project budget and project progress, take corrective actions when necessary.

  • Lead the project in all phases of the project.

  • Manage international stakeholders.

  • Lead change management within the affected organizations to ensure that the project benefits are realized.

  • Generate regular and adequate reporting.

  • Coordinate the project implementation in close cooperation with the business.

  • Support the realization of the companies’ blueprint program.

  • Resolve operational escalations when process issues arise.

You are a part of a global team of GBPO Procurement that consists of Business Process Owner (BPO), Business Process Expert (BPE), reporting to GBPO Source to Pay (S2P) Director.

You will be located in Global Competence Center in Łódź, where we centralize our business processes. Our focus is on supporting faster workflows and collaboration across departments, to enable leaner operations and improved results. 1000+ strong and growing, our Global Business Services EMEA Hub in Lódź teams speak 30 languages and represent 13 different nationalities, supporting our operations in 50 countries supported on a daily basis.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Processes/transactions knowledge related to SAP MM (SAP SD and PM is a plus).

  • Process and information driven professional with focus on impactful business improvement by standardization and innovation.

  • Thorough knowledge of the Purchasing process in global organization

  • At least 5-7 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong communicator with effective influencing skill in a matrix setting.

  • Excellent command of English (both verbal and written).

  • Experience with managing projects in international complex environments.

  • Strong change management mindset and capabilities.

  • Strong passion for continuous improvement.

  • Customer service attitude with intercultural sensitiveness.

  • Good analytical skills and process ownership capabilities.

  • Operational knowledge of SAP.

  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma, Agile will be an asset.
