Work in a 24X7 technology restoration and availability command center

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the effective day-to-day operations of the change and configuration management processes
  • Assist in the technical planning and coordination of plans and schedules of operations and project releases
  • Provide technical expertise to assist in the evaluation of technical risks and impacts
  • Support the Change Management process to ensure continuous improvement
  • Reports and analyzes the change management process and prepare reports on trends and advise on potential causes of problems
  • Identifies, assesses and develops solutions in order to evolve the Aon’s change, release and deployment management policies and processes
  • Ensures that all releases into the production environment are deemed "production ready" prior to release and that all risks are identified and communicated to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Leads cross functional work teams such as the the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and enforce corrective action for non-compliance of the change process

Technical Skills required

  • Experience with ITIL V3, specifically in the area of Change, Release and Deployment
  • Exposure to tools like BMC Remedy, Service Now
  • Demonstrated experience in driving change management processes
  • Experience in driving Change approval board meetings, reviewing the risk and impact analysis, implementation, test and back out plans
  • Exceptional written, verbal and relationship management skills and the ability to engage at a senior executive level, and with key stakeholders in a constructive manner
  • Ensures that changes are adequately reviewed, approved, and scheduled in a timely manner with proper documentation in place. Takes corrective action on issues of non-compliance in terms of quality and process

  • Good analytical skills and be able to correlate the issues; Good decision making
  • Excellent problem solving and resolution skills
  • Promoting Process Improvement
  • Flexibility in work in shifts, as required
  • Self-starter; ability to begin working with minimal coaching.
  • Strong communication skills. Provides information to others both internal and external to the organization.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on multiple overlapping issues
