The opportunity

The Quality Assurance Analyst is part of dynamic and growing team responsible for managing and leading Quality Assurance and Improvement (QA&I) Assessments for Enterprise Technology (ET). You will be responsible for surveying and analyzing existing internal and external service levels, contractual agreements, internal policies, standards, and processes to determine overall compliance, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. You will partner and coordinate with internal teams across ET, Client Technology (CT) and Information Security to execute on the required assessments. Additionally, as the QA analyst works with the QA&I lead to ensure the program is maturing through close internal monitoring and customer feedback. As the Quality Assurance Analyst, you will possess excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage the assessment life cycle, deliver data driven results and foster quality as a way of working across the organization.

Your key responsibilities

Quality Analysis

  • Perform assessments on ET, CT, and InfoSec; products, services, applications, vendors, processes, performance, and delivery (projects).
  • Lead and manage QA&I assessments to determine compliance to established processes, policies, and standards.
  • Record findings identifying improvement areas and provide recommendations to address areas of concern.
  • Coordinate all assessment activities end to end including defining assessment scope, communicating the duration and timeline of the assessment, perform surveys to gather key information, collect relevant data, analyze all data inputs, produce final reports documenting the assessment score, findings, and recommendations.
  • Work directly with the assessment stakeholders to develop the assessment scope and schedule.
  • Set clear expectations with the assessment stakeholders and demonstrate good follow through by providing timely updates and status.
  • Ensure all required evidence, documentation, data, and other collateral are collected and stored.
  • Work with data owners and support teams to gather, parse, and analyze data required to complete the assessment.
  • Analyze large amounts of data from various sources and be able to provide detail and summary reports of that analysis.
  • Engage with the required support and technical teams to validate; contractual agreements, financial metrics, tools, technology, processes, resources, and other information required to complete the assessment.
  • Analyze assessment findings for risks, repeat trends and negative impacts to the business.
  • Accurately and clearly record assessment findings and recommendations.
  • Manage to the agreed upon schedule and plan.
  • Through a Quality Enablement engagement, act as a consultant to the business providing tools and methods to enable them to perform quality checks independent of the QA&I Assessments.

Quality Planning

  • Continuously monitor the assessment process for improvement opportunities, gaining insights through direct observation, customer feedback and surveys.
  • Assist the QA&I Lead to refine the Quality Assurance processes and tools as needed.
  • Responsible for conducting and analyzing yearly survey results to determine QA&I CSAT and NPS scores to drive team improvements and optimization.
  • Assist the QA&I Lead in defining and monitoring the teams KPI’s, metrics, roadmaps, and goals.
  • Document and maintain Quality processes, procedures, and templates.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality processes as needed.
  • Working with QA&I Lead, manage, and maintain the QA&I Assessment Pipeline report.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A degree in Computer Science / MBA or a related field
  • Prior role performing audits in Information Technology or similar experience
  • 5+ years in a corporate IT environment
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT, Quality Assurance or Audit
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Standards – ISO 9000, Quality Audit Standards – ISO 9001, Project Management methodology, Process Improvement methodology (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
  • Ability and flexibility to operate in a virtual environment across multiple time zones
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Other proven experience in a related technical field (infrastructure and business process development / analysis; application development, deployment/implementation)

Demonstrate a strong understanding of project and process management methodology and tools. Ready to assume a leadership role on assessment activities, leading dispersed, matrixed teams toward a single goal. Have a positive attitude towards learning and sharing knowledge
