This role is responsible for support the statutory audit and coordinate preparation and approval of statutory financial statements with local EY teams.

The opportunity

If you can demonstrate an extensive background in financial analysis, review of tax fillings, tax compliance and collaboration with 3rd party on bookkeeping activities.

Your key responsibilities

• Direct Tax compliance
• Indirect Tax compliance
• Tax audit, litigation, and other type of tax investigations
• Treasury & Banking Support
• Statutory Audit, Internal audit & SOX compliance
• Fixed assets management
• Mailroom and documents management
• Other activities as per project’s requirements

Skills and attributes for success

• Strive to bring in process improvement, automation, optimize timelines, process simplification and quality of outcome.
• Excellent communication skills as this is a client facing role
• Identify issues and proactively solve challenge
• Good communicator in English (Business English), Polish and German
• Ability to learn client specific processes quickly and manage processes independently
• Time management, commitment to deadlines, and ability to work under pressure
• Blackline experience and other tools, including Cloud solutions (nice to have)

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 2-3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Very good command of English and German
• Very good work organization, initiative and commitment
