Your role

Are you good at problem solving? Are you an innovative thinker? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
– Coordinate activities across risk methodology teams involved in data, scenario and model development, with a focus on run-the-bank processes
– Engage with a broad range of stakeholders across the organization for all products managed by the team and build and maintain a network of contacts within the firm
– Create and maintain process maps for different processes and monitor runbooks in Excel/JIRA. Identify and manage process dependencies and risks
– Clearly and thoroughly document scenario development and generation processes, procedures and controls for regulators and senior management
– Assist with regulatory and audit inquiries, and ad hoc initiatives to meet evolving stakeholder needs and expectations
– Manage multiple deliverables concurrently and enable decision making on funding and prioritization

Your team

You’ll be working as part of the global Forecasting and Scenario Methodology (FSM) team in Kraków. Our team is responsible for all aspects of scenario generation. This involves the creation of internal scenarios, the expansion of regulatory scenarios, as well as the creation of econometric models for scenario expansion, scenario generation frameworks and data management. Our team covers modelling of global macroeconomic and financial risk and the development of stress scenarios for UBS and its regional entities.

Stress scenarios represent an area of continuous development, as they are increasingly adopted by banks to assess the impact of external shocks on their business and by regulators to assess the resilience of the financial sector and the economy to adverse events.

Your expertise

You have:
– degree or master in business administration and management, project management, process engineering, economics, finance, statistics
– at least two years of working experience in the area of project and/or process management
– proficient with MS Office (particularly excel)
– familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is a plus
– familiarity with economics and econometrics is a plus
– knowledge of relational data bases and experience in process automation is a plus
– familiarity with R and/or Python is a plus

You are:
– team-oriented but able to complete tasks independently to a high standard
– a strong communicator, able to clearly to summarize issues focusing on key points
– structured, organized, and detail-oriented
– fluent in English
