We’re looking for a Senior Consultant with an expertise in a broad technologies across Supply Chain to join us in EY GDS-SC&O. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

The opportunity

As part of our team, you will help clients to improve the performance of their supply chain. Working with EY GDS -SC&O proprietary frameworks, you will help clients to improve reliability, flexibility and responsiveness of their supply chain whilst reducing the total cost. Typical role representation would include developing operating models, redesigning supply chain processes, data extraction, analysis and visualization, performing quick assessment, developing assets/tools and coming up with thought leadership.

Your key responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and processes in international projects
• Capture data sets in vary formats and translate it into problem statement and final recommendations
• Evaluate business model and initiate improvements to the current processes and systems
• Analyze data input and transform it into visual form clearly stating problem and status helping ultimately Client making strategic decisions
• Prepare and actively participate in client facing meetings and drive discussion
• Contribute in development of intellectual capital in your industry of expertise
• Participate actively in building an industry focused practice across EY GDS service lines

• Effective communication skills and experience in customer facing role
• Ability to work independently and proactive

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Higher Degree (Supply Chain/ Operations) from Tier-1 institutes with 3-8 years of relevant business/consulting experience in supply chain functions
• Experience in Data Visualization using Tableau /Power BI / QlikView etc
• Experience with analytical tools (R, Alteryx & Python) and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau & Qlik View)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proven expertise in Data Transformation/Modelling using SQL etc.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for client and management is an essential part of the role
• Entrepreneurial mindset, design thinking and passion for technology

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in a consulting firm and global exposure is desirable
• Technical background related to systems configuration and setup is a strong addition
