Your role
Would you like to jumpstart your cyber security career in a respectable organization? Want to develop your skills and knowledge in web and cloud security? If so, we’re looking for a risk assessor to join our Risk and Oversight team that can:
• perform risk assessments and control access to web and cloud resources.
• develop a deep understanding of the cyber security controls, processes, policies, and programs in place to protect our clients and the firm.
• proactively and constructively challenge the status quo by identifying operational risks, proposing realistic remediation or improvement solutions.
• support lead risk assessor with developing drafts and review processes that alter how the business is run.
• become a trusted technical partner for stakeholders from technology and business.
Your team
Cyber & Information Security (CIS) Services is the single point of contact and recognized subject matter expert for all matters related to cyber & information security in UBS. You’ll be working with team members located across the globe on a range of topics including maintenance and continuous improvement of processes, such as technical risk management and internet access governance.

Your expertise
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, maths) or equivalent
No previous experience is required and training is on-the-job, however, an eye for detail and excellent communication is essential.
• motivated and willingness to learn and develop themselves.
• fast learner who will have the ability to work independently towards tight deadlines.
• team player leveraging problem solving and analytical skills.
• interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate complex concepts effectively to stakeholders from a range of technical backgrounds.
• excellent spoken and written English is required. French, German or Italian as a plus
