Your New team

The Quality Assurance & Process Improvement Team will own, execute, and oversee global transformation standardization initiatives for the Global Custody Client Service / Asset Manager Services group, driving service uplift and better outcomes for our Clients. The team will work with Regional Custody Client Service Leads to drive local business execution in a globally consistent manner.

Your new role

As a Custody Client Service - Quality Assurance & Process Improvement Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and assisting EMEA Custody Client Service teams in the delivery of organisational design, operating model or process change programmes/projects
  • Identification of opportunities for global consistency, efficiency, and process improvement
  • Providing consultancy and drive the team’s strategy to optimize and standardize operational processes in line with the Global organisational objectives. Being proactive in communications with senior management to drive required solutions
  • Driving quantifiable and qualitative analysis, including but not limited to, process efficiency, productivity review, quality assurance etc
  • End-to-end delivery of Quality Assurance and Process improvement initiatives – including analysis of current state processes, design/recommendation for enhancements and management of implementation phase
  • Assistance in developing and implementing new workflow approaches and methods as well as system enhancements
  • Management for global project teams across various stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery with desired outcomes - Own each phase of the project life cycle
  • Lead planning, execution and management of assigned projects; ensure proper risk management framework is established and followed
  • Reporting on progress, issues and challenges to key stakeholders and senior management on a regular basis in a constructive, solutions-focused, data centric manner
  • Development of standardized management and control reporting for the Global Custody Client Service group
  • Supporting Regional Custody Client Service Leads with Regulatory and Compliance reviews (including review of Operating Errors/Losses/Breaches), an execution of associated remediation plans
  • Supporting Global Footprint (migration) initiatives for the Custody Client Service group
  • Supporting Client driven Custody change and the development of Custody as a product
  • Maintenance and development of the specialist knowledge and skillset required to perform the role effectively (e.g. Project Management, IT skills, developing knowledge of the Global Custody business)
  • Promotion of the continuous improvement culture within the Custody Client Service Group

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What we value

Preferred experience and qualifications:

  • Education in economics, business, finance or IT
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant role e.g. Client facing role with an emphasis on Global Custody or Fund Administration, a Project Management Business Analyst or IT role in a similar environment

  • A proactive approach to problem solving and an analytical mindset;
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time effectively across a number of simultaneous initiatives, ensuring effective communication to stakeholders and executing objectives in line with agreed deadlines;
  • Ability to understand the needs of the business and translate into application and operational requirements;
  • Ability to ask the right questions, interpret and present the gathered information
  • Ability to work well as an individual;
  • A proactive approach to self-development and upskilling, including staying abreast of the latest available technology and automation solutions
  • Ensuring project governance documentation is maintained to a high standard - knowledge of the project life cycle and project management skills are preferred
