Outsourcing Oversight Senior Specialist, hybrid/remote, Officer
Location: Kraków

Your new team

You will be part of the EMEA Outsourcing Office which drives consistency in the outsourcing model, framework and oversight for EMEA legal entities, this will include both new and existing intra group and external outsourcing proposals. The team will be primarily tasked with reducing fragmentation and building consistency for the region.

Who are we looking for?

An ambitious individual ready to support oversight of the outsourcing framework, enhance reporting process and management information creation.
You need to have well-developed presentation skills and experience in using data visualization software. Knowledge of Lean management and project management methodologies will help you succeed in this function.


Your new role

This role can be performed fully remotely from home within Poland area or you can work from the Kraków office in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

As Outsourcing Oversight Senior Specialist, Officer you will be:

  • Supporting oversight of the Outsourcing Framework to ensure compliance with the relevant Outsourcing regulations
  • Preparing data related to Outsourcing / Resiliency Management Information (MI), making updates in relevant databases
  • Customizing MI tool(s) as and when required
  • Implementing innovative reporting techniques and new tools which enhance the process
  • Producing MI for key senior stakeholders in the region to enable informed decision making
  • Assisting with business controls testing over the EMEA outsourcing Inventory and Outsourcing Framework
  • Acting as SMEs to advise Business Units and centralized functions on adherence to the EMEA Outsourcing Policy
  • Completing a periodic review of templates/ procedures owned by the EMEA Outsourcing Office to ensure they remain fit for purpose and up to date
  • Taking part in strategic discussions and workload planning
  • Performing and effectively accommodating relevant ad-hoc projects and requests
  • Establishing and nurturing a culture of ‘Risk Excellence’ within the team, encouraging an environment of openness that welcomes effective challenge and supports open discussion
  • Maintaining the highest standards of conduct and integrity and ensure compliance with accepted industry practice, company policies as well as statute and regulatory requirements
  • Developing effective working relationships and communications with key stakeholders such as Compliance, ERM and Business Units
  • Co-ordinating, managing and supporting the successful delivery of projects/ programs of work through working collaboratively with stakeholders

What we value

Specific qualifications and experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in roles related to Outsourcing, Resiliency, AML/KYC, Compliance, Risk Management or central governance functions
  • Project management qualification (Prince 2, MSP, Agile) or equivalent demonstrable experience preferable
  • Advanced PC literacy including MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Fluency in reporting, with strong presentation skills, using data visualization software (Collaborate/SharePoint, SQL, Tableau, Python) will be an asset
  • Analytical skills, ability to prepare concise data analysis, resiliency and outsourcing related analysis
  • Knowledge of business process modelling and Lean Management will be a strong asset

  • Ability to interact at various organizational levels and engage with senior staff from other State Street locations
  • Ability to work independently and effectively execute established goals
  • Analytical skills: the candidate should be able to take a step back from the available data and look holistically at the risks impacting the service delivery with the ability to “connect the dots” and form an articulated risk opinion
  • Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in his own behavior
  • Demonstrated commitment to Integrity and Ethical Values and Strengthen Risk Management Culture
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Communicate confidently, effectively and clearly in both written and verbal forms
  • Excellent command of English language is a must have
