Your role

We're looking for Software Engineer to:

• design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
• stabilize and refactor a Legacy application to modern standards
• transition this application to UBS's Azure Cloud infrastructure
• develop the application to allow for re-use with other Risk Libraries and trade types

Your team

You'll be working in the Frisk team with members in Krakow, Bucharest and London. We provide Intra-day and end of Day Risk systems for the desk and for Finance aligned to the Global Markets Rates and Credit Businesses. Your role will play an important role in supporting these benefits. The team mixes a number of styles and cultures. Diversity helps us grow, together. Your expertise

• held similar software engineer role, ideally for 3+ years within the finance sector
• software engineer/developer focused on Cloud migration to Microsoft's Azure offering
• able to code in Java and .NET a must
• produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
• design, plan and deliver solutions in a large scale enterprise environment
• master’s degree or equivalent with a focus in a finance or engineering subject
