Description

Job Purpose:

 

The person selected for this role will be responsible for leading a small team of technical support and project management resources. The team will be responsible for maintaining and tracking of all Global Compliance Monitoring projects as well as Quality Assurance and operational metrics reporting, as well as technical support of GCM tools. This role requires understanding of Information Security and fundamental project management and leadership skills.

 

Job Background:

 

Function of Global Compliance Monitoring (GCM) organization under Global Information Security. GCM is responsible for monitoring IS changes to GIDA supported applications and infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Maintain global metrics (KRI) and dashboard to provide management with a clear view of ongoing risks/issues.
• Utilize operational metrics to determine areas of technical or process improvements
• Develop and maintain communication channel between operations and tool development teams
• Drive organizational risk and control related projects across GCM Operations and develop presentation of open issues, CAPs, key metrics and project status for stakeholders and associated partners.
• Track and follow-up on action items to closure.
• Coordinate between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide consolidation of audit logging requirements.
• Perform project progress related activities such as gathering requirements, analysis and design reviews.
• Support internal audit/regulatory reviews and MCA testing by communication, collection and tracking of deliverable requests.
• Coordinate implementation of GCM standard quality assurance program to include test sampling and procedures, metrics and issue resolution.
• The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to develop a broad knowledge of Information Security controls and operational concepts within a major financial organization, building on their current risk and controls operations experience.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience:

 

• Bachelor's Degree &/or 3 - 5 years experience in Information Security preferred.
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products required.
• Must be able to work with Global teams to track performance, communicate expectations, anticipate and recognize problems, and when appropriate, escalate appropriately.
• Have capacity to communicate with both the Business and the Technology groups to effectively facilitate issues and requirements.
• Strong written skills are required in the documentation of process control manuals.
• Must be able to help motivate team members and project owners to successful completion of required projects.
• Ability to create metrics, presentations and other documents as needed
