In Poland we started our operations in 2007. Our operation in Poland primarily revolves around the global technical support center through which we provide multilingual Infrastructure Management Support to our clients. Apart from providing multilingual technical support in 18 languages, we also work on technology based projects for our clients.

Due to our growing business needs we are looking for:

Local HR Specialist with German or French
Location: Kraków


Role Description

HR Services within HCL enables various employee life cycle processes & events for its employees along with grievance handling.

  • Collate requests received from internal multi lingual customers on a daily basis; Understand the requirements of the customer from the process & application (HCL employees, managers, HR teams, etc.)
  • Perform transactions and update the system for the concerned process as per the standard operating procedure (SOP) defined
  • Support in day to day query handling along with HR – the approach should be to upskill the Offshore query management team to cater to Europe better by sharing location specific feedback.
  • New Hire Induction session planning and delivering corporate sessions
  • Driving BGV from location as per law of land/GDPR/PII and ensure Background check complaince in the country/region
  • Maintain internal database files and develop reports to help decision making with respect to policies and processes on a periodic / ad-hoc basis.
  • Identify ways to improve processes / enhance service effectiveness
  • Analyze the same on an on-going basis for issues related to quality and/or timelines; Take corrective measures to resolve issues
  • Maintain record of the transactions executed as per the defined protocol for future reference
  • Respond to queries by the customers, employees on the transactions executed
  • Provide inputs on process and service effectiveness improvement areas to HR, HR Services                                           
  • Support implementation of the revised processes and communication regarding the same to the relevant departments
  • Prepare Monthly report and dashboards

Critical Thinking

  • Complete understanding of SOP's and the background/impact of the acitivity.
  • Should be well versed with country wise policies and nuances.
  • Country specific Law of the land nuances and knowledge of HR policies in Europe

Skills / Competencies


  • English: C1
  • French or German: min B2
  • Ability to understand different activities across countries
  • Ability to communicate over email, chat, phone efficiently.
  • Interact with various functions/departments within HCL for task execution.
  • Ability to use MS Excel to capture & consolidate data.
  • Ability to use MS Word for preparing SOP's, Letters and other required docs.
