 EMEA AR & Disputes Lead
Location - Kraków

Why is this job for You:

You will play a significant role in developing and implementing OTC delivery model in EMEA region. You will lead the combined efforts of the AR and Disputes activities in EMEA striving to standardization and centralization of the processes in the region. You will also have a responsibility for driving optimization projects of the finance activities in the Cash Application and Disputes area cooperating closely with key OTC customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Promoting understanding of the approved process standards, supporting the design of the detailed AR/DMS processes
  • Driving documentation, standardization, and codification of more complex processes to be transitioned to the Finance Global Operations, leading the development and adoption of new methodologies or processes
  • Providing escalation support to the OTC Lead Team for process issues which require changes to current approved standards
  • Partnering with IT in the execution of applicable OTC process harmonization and business systems specific to the region
  • Ensuring transactions and activities are recorded in compliance with applicable country statutory requirements, as well as USGAAP, and established accounting policies and conventions for IP
  • Ensuring integrity of internal controls, in partnership with the compliance team
  • Being accountable for the regional Performance Management process, including service delivery, to ensure transparency of process area activities to internal management and customer businesses.
  • Being change advocate for processes, tool set utilization and proper standards as required
  • Identifying of process and technical improvement opportunities, generate creative and innovative perspective to develop alternative solutions
  • Developing AR and DMS processes to maximize automation, proposing best in class automation tools, drives efficiencies through automation 

You have:

  • Minimum five years in shared services experience with 3 of those in finance and/or IT department
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, administration or IT preferred
  • Experience in improving and automating processes
  • Advance SAP skills, preferably AR/DMS module
  • Strong AR knowledge would be an asset
  • Independency and enthusiasm
  • Passion for automation and process improvement
  • Desire to learn
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to manage interactions with a global, multi-cultural team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Organization change management skills
  • Very good analytical skills to think problems/circumstances through and develop credible plans
  • Witron, Majiq knowledge will be an asset
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Knowledge of one of the European language would be beneficial  e.g. Spanish, French, Italian, Polish
