To strengthen its market position and capacities in Europe, O-I had invested €420M between 2013 – 2015 and continuous investments in 2016-2017.
In Poland, O-I has two plants in Jarosław and Poznan (Antoninek), Europe Machine Service Center located in Jarosław, as well as European Business Services Center (O-I Business Service Center), which manages the centralized services for the activities of O-I in Europe. In Poland, O-I employs over 850 people.
The role of O-I BSC is standardizing and implementing common ‘back office’ functions for all of our European operations: accounts payable and receivable, controlling, cash and banking, internal audit, master data, accounting, tax, procurement and IT.
