We are transforming our network, implementing the latest connectivity technologies to connect our users across the globe, wherever they are, in factories, retail outlets, head offices, sales offices or working remotely. Our Global Connectivity Transformation program will transform our WAN to a fully internet-based SD-WAN, deploy WiFi 6 as our standard wireless technology, modernize the LAN switching environment and deploy new capabilities to secure the network. Hybrid connectivity is our present, and container networking is just around the corner.

Currently we are looking to hire a Connectivity Engineer to help us deliver this ambitious transformation.

You will be part of the agile Network Connectivity Product Team organized around providing network connectivity services to all PMI affiliates. You will be in charge of deploying and maintaining network connectivity solutions, systems and services required by the business and aligned with global standards and policies, providing support for all the implemented services globally and serve as a point of contact for affiliate teams and the vendors.

You will work with authorized vendors and support partners to achieve the objectives, coordinate the work between various parties, including designated contact points in the affiliates and will be curious, proactive and driven to understand the customers' needs and business challenges and deliver technically viable, cost-effective solutions in line with security policies and architectural designs agreed with appropriate PMI technology teams and our vendors.



• 3+ years in delivering and supporting IT infrastructure solutions in a large and multinational company;
• Experience in Service Management (ITIL prefered)
• Experience in Agile Methodology for Service Delivery and Project Management (good exposure to scrums, Product Based organization etc.);
• Strong technical diagnostic skills, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities;
• Experience defining project plans for infrastructure deliverables under his/her responsibility;
• Experience managing IT Infrastructure following ITIL processes: incident, problem, change, configuration, capacity management;
• Preferred technology exposure includes Cisco Routers/Switches/Access Points/Meraki Line/, Palo Alto, Software Defined Networking, SASE Concept, Cloud-based Network Management and Configuration concepts, Modern Enterprise Voice solutions;
• Experience in cloud-based solutions is a plus (AWS, Azure, Office 365);
• Experience in 5G and WiFi 6 is a plus;
• Hands-on troubleshooting ability is a plus;
• Certification in one or more preferred technology areas is a definite plus.

There will be a possibility of almost 100% remote work (in Poland) with occasional visits in our office in Krakow.


• Understand and promote globally agreed network connectivity standards and solutions, PMI's Affiliate Reference Architecture and PMI's InfoSecurity policies and guidelines.
• Contribute and assist in the analysis and understanding of business needs, definition of connectivity solutions from the global PMI portfolio and delivery of agreed connectivity services.
• Understand in detail Service Catalog, Price Book, Customer Operations Guide and similar documents and tools provided by PMI's main network connectivity vendors and be able to apply that understanding during requirement analysis, ordering and validation of quotes, orders, kit lists and runbooks provided during the life cycle of requested services.
• Contribute and assist in the delivery of Connectivity Services in the most optimized fashion (timely, cost effective, secure, stable, reliable and user-friendly, both from the global team perspective and from the demanding affiliate or central teams) to maximize financial and technical efficiency of the solutions provided.
• Ensure the adherence to all PMI policies and guidelines related to security and compliance by assessing and implementing IT Security requirements (policies, guidelines, SOX, GDPR etc) in order to minimize risks regarding confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
• Contribute and assist in the development and/or implementation of appropriate documentations, training programs/materials, and business continuity plans for the services and systems in the Connectivity Team portfolio.
• Contribute and assist in responding to service incidents and outages, along with the responsible vendor teams and internal PMI technology and application teams where necessary and where agreed based on predefined processes.
