Senior Data Architect (API Integration)
Location: Kraków

MAKE HISTORY WITH US!

At PMI, we’ve chosen to do something incredible. We’re totally transforming our business, and building our future on smoke-free products with the power to improve the lives of a billion smokers worldwide.
With huge change, comes huge opportunity. So, wherever you join us, you’ll enjoy the freedom to dream up and deliver better, brighter solutions and the space to move your career forward in endlessly different directions.

As part of the Data Architecture and Data Strategy Team in EAD, we are looking for a Senior Data Architect specialized in supporting API Integrations for the data within the enterprise, specifically to support delivery of advanced analytics use cases.
A key deliverable for this position will also include designing both the data architecture that would support such an integration pattern and also providing technical leadership in the API design and architecture space, acting as a trusted partner for Domain Architect. Therefore a deep understanding of API architecture patterns in the context of both microservices and event driven architecture is crucial.

The vision is simple; create an API-led architecture landscape to facilitate data sharing, access & availability. This role will be responsible for owning that vision in partnership with the EAD Domain Architect and defining/delivering the roadmap to get us there.

This is a leadership role where you will be expected to lead, define and drive business value propositions based on the power of hybrid data and application integration patterns that support a distributed architecture. In that context, the ideal candidate will have the required skills and potential to transform the potential that API technologies offer into architecting and serving our next generation of customer facing interactions across PMI and thus reduce duplication and incoherence in our current ecosystem. This is a high impact role where you will be the technical leader focused on driving the design & development of the data architecture that underpins the API ecosystem and driving the design of the API architecture. The ideal candidate enjoys data modeling, building highly generalized & optimized API pipelines to exchange data.

You will be a key member of the Data Architecture and Data Strategy Team and will work closely with our Domain architect, Machine learning architect, NLP architect and a core team of Enterprise Data Architects to ensure your proposed technical and data architecture for API integration services is in full alignment with our underlying business and technical strategic drivers and challenges faced by PMI.
