Key activities

• Execute the Audit Plan as approved by the Audit Committee

• Perform a variety of IT audit reviews, including applications, infrastructure, and systems development

• Conduct operational audits to determine the reliability and effectiveness of financial and control systems

• Perform IT risk assessments by reviewing, documenting, evaluating, and testing general computer controls and application controls (security, SoD, change management, data warehouse, operations and program development, infrastructure)

• Identify opportunities for control improvements in pre/post-implementation of IT systems, upgrades, and other change events.

• Build close working relationship with IT and business process management

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures

• Prepare reports of findings and recommendations to management

• Communicate results to Audit Committee and senior management

• Interface with external auditors

• Ensure audit work programs and work papers adhere to professional standards

• Track and monitor management’s corrective action plans

Profile we look for

• 5 years of professional experience in the related ares

• University degree in Informaion Systems, Information Technology, Data Security or similar

• Knowledge and understanding of how to conduct investigate allegations of fraud and employee misconduct

• Controls Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the information technology control environment of the audit entity

• Audit Standards Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of auditing standards used to conduct technology, operational, and compliance reviews to ensure audits are conducted using appropriate standards

• Database/systems Auditing Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of how to validate electronic databases and systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.

• Global Travel: Willingness to travel and work away from headquarters office to conduct audits of Amway affiliates globally, for upwards of three weeks.

• Interpret Data: Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from data

• Effectively communicating and presenting complex data (both verbally and written) to influence all levels and global audiences; helps others understand data and translate it into actionable business insights.

• Ability to think strategically and understand the broader view. Demonstrates an understanding of the long-term, "big picture" view of needs and opportunities.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

• Ability to develop and maintain effective and productive relationships, including ability to influence, negotiate and manage conflicts effectively and constructively with clients, vendors and peers.

• Knowledge of the business and the key internal and external drivers that affect the business, including information technology, political and industry trends.

• Ability to effectively provide technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; knowledge of applicable tools and techniques to maximize consulting effectiveness.

• Ability to formulate conclusions and recommendations using facts and data, analysis, deductive reasoning and sound judgment.
