Job description:

The successful candidate will be joining the EMEA Lubricants Planning organization at a critical and exciting time in the optimisation phase of its Journey to Excellence, enabling the Supply Chain to be a source of competitive advantage. The Materials Scheduler role is a key role in the Lubricant Supply Chain organization.
The position operates from a centralised location, accountable for executing the day to day materials supply requirements for all Lubricants and Grease manufacturing locations in the EMEA region, both Shell owned and 3rd Parties.


Key responsibilities:

  • Create a feasible supply plan for all component types to be delivered to the various manufacturing locations in the region, in order to meet the demands of the production plans at those locations.

  • Working virtually and maintaining strong lines of communication with the local operational staff at the manufacturing locations.

  • Optimizing inbound supplies, ensuring the reliable, effective and timely supply of components and finished products, meeting our quality and service performance standards.

  • New components introduction is coordinated by this team, requiring strong change management skills and a dependence on Right First Time master data creation.

  • To ensure the flawless execution of component supply.

  • To ensure correct pricing is applied to all component purchases, and to monitor vendor operational delivery performance.

  • Accountable for the completeness and accuracy of Master and transactional data

  • Accountable for Supplier delivery performance monitoring and reporting

  • Undertakes more complex transaction processing in systems such as APO/SAP/Orchestr8

  • Accountable for the optimisation of component stock levels through analysis and setting of associated Planning Parameters via buffer review

  • Manage the introduction, maintenance and withdrawal of components in the Planning and execution systems,

  • To ensure that the component supply plan is executed in effectively and efficiently to ensure the correct components in the correct quantities are delivered to manufacturing locations to meet the stocking and production plans.

  • To effectively manage system generated alerts and information from the business to ensure that shortages in supply are properly managed to minimise the impact of production and customer.

Requirements:

  • min. 2 years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain or Purchasing

  • University degree

  • An ability to work in a virtual environment, communicating across multiple countries and languages.

  • Lubes Business experience is an advantage.

  • Experience with integrated SAP/ERP systems is required, and a knowledge of Planning Tools (such as APO) is an advantage.

  • Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders from different countries and cultures.

  • English min. C1

  • Knowledge of the following languages is an advantage: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Turkish.

  • Great Analytical skills

  • Stakeholder management skills
