This role should drive operational excellence and continuous business improvement to support carrier performance management, Distribution Center supply, and outlook. Support Direct Delivery system implementation.

You are responsible for

  • Managing Mainstream Transportation from ~30 Outsourced European Suppliers to Regional Distribution Centers and Market Distribution Centers.
  • Coordination of shipments inside the Transport Management System Infodis.
  • Trouble shooting of Ad-hoc issues (Carrier, system and operations related issues).
  • Carrier management by Monthly; Quarterly Business Review Meetings Calls.
  • Supporting EBLA (Eligible Buyer Location Agreement) suppliers with Upstream allocation.
  • Preliminary Freight invoice control with managing dispute process, transport Claim management and support.
  • Carrier and Distribution Centers forecasting weekly, monthly and yearly to ensure availability and capacity.
  • Managing Additional cost process (demurrage).
  • Managing Transport KPI reporting and Targets / Pickup and Delivery performance.
  • Ensuring continuous operational improvement.

Being Member of Supply Chain Team in Global Competence Center in Łódź, You will be part of a collaborative global Supply Chain Team of international professionals, helping Philips to develop, build and improve Integrated Supply Chain in Philips. As we value diversity, we have a diverse and multi-functional Team and many resources to support you. In this role, you will report to the Transport Manager in the Global Competence Center in Łódź.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University Degree,
  • Min. 5 years of proven experience in transportation management and 3PL in a global complex manufacturing environment,
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills,
  • Experience in data entry and data management,
  • Knowledge of SAP,
  • Proficient User of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
  • INFODIS TMS user knowledge is preferable,
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work,
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-through,
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking,
  • Hands-on and Can-do mentality with strong customer-oriented mindset,
  • Ability to participate and interact in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment with multiple levels of leadership internally and externally,
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
