We are looking for candidates with strong engineering and broad cloud architecture skills as well as knowledge of external cloud offerings and strategies, including those from Amazon, Google and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have a successful record of delivering complex, high visibility projects and initiatives, developing frameworks and standards that allow for automated and repeatable outcomes, and driving a highly talented team to achieve aggressive timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership for Cloud Product Engineering for the Consumer banking business.
- Champion adoption and integration to cloud platforms via domain knowledge, innovation and leadership skill
- Maintain cloud infrastructure roadmaps and decision matrices that outline when and where to use various technology solutions and/or components
- Build new cloud infrastructure patterns for emerging technology once they are understood enough to warrant pattern creation
- Forecast new technology adoption capabilities and understand financial or time-to-market benefit for the Consumer business and Technology
- Participate in “first contact” efforts with 3rd parties that we are either looking to consume services from or who are looking to consume services from us, acting as the infrastructure SME
- Engage other technology teams within Citi to perform comparative analysis, proof of concepts and other studies to assess viability of new infrastructure products
- Interact with senior managers and their directs through formal and informal means via roadmap presentations and road shows

Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role - a plus if it's in the Finance Sector
- Strong academic background with at least an undergraduate degree in a related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong experience with Data and Analytics services on Google Cloud or AWS such as Big Data / Athena, Glue, SQL / RDS, Bigtable / DynamoDB
- Proven experience in integration of Cloud DB systems with entitlements and authorization systems serving the enterprise
- Strong experience on DevOps essential tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, GIT, Bitbucket and Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as code expertise using Cloud Formation, Terraform and Puppet
- Experience in Apache Big Data ecosystem is preferred
- Must have experience building out and enforcing the use of frameworks that can help streamline and accelerate engineering outcomes
